2020 Season

Players of all ages and abilities are invited and welcome to join North Star Football Club.

ALL INCLUSIVE FEES - THERE ARE NO WEEKLY MATCH FEES LIKE OTHER CLUBS

The club has a NO PAY, NO PLAY policy. Get a head start on your fees by registering now then you can pay the fees by instalments to suit your budget over the next few months. These can be made via a direct debit payment plan (application available through the payment page), regular bank transfer (details are on your invoice) or by eftpos to one of the club's committee members on training/trials nights. This will ensure full payment by first fixture and players won't miss any fixtures.

North Star accepts Fair Play vouchers as part payment for fees. The next round for Fair Play voucher applications open in early 2020. See here for eligibility and application details https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/fairplay/apply

To be eligible to play at North Star, once you are registered via our online portal, all players also need to register on the national registration system ( www.playfootball.com.au ) which opens early January each year. A reminder will be sent to players who have already registered on the North Star site when national registrations open. Registrations for Play Football (the national system) do need to be done annually.

Registration fees for the 2020 season include local, state and national association fees, club fees and match fees for all players along with other inclusions outlined below for different playing groups.

^A discount is offered to senior players taking on a junior or senior coaching role during the 2020 season - Conditions apply.

There is NO volunteer levy at NSFC, however all teams will be placed on a roster system to provide assistance in the canteen during the season either through home baking, cooking or helping in the canteen on junior and senior match days.

Fees

Along with Association fees, inclusions noted below and referees fees, monies collected as fees are used in many areas so that the club is able to provide players with a terrific environment to play the world game of Football. Click Here for further information about what how your fees are used within the club

UNDER 6 – UNDER 11 INCLUSIONS:

·         Only NEW Miniroo  players will receive the club playing jersey as part of their fees. Club shorts and socks still need to be purchased. Please Note - The 2020 playing shorts are the same as the 2019 playing shorts.

·         Training 1 night per week and play 1 game per week (Saturdays)

·         Team Photo

·         Mini Roos Trophy Presentation Day (free)

·      * U8-U11 Development players will also receive a training jersey (replenishment only) 

**U8-U11 Academy players receive all of the above, plus an additional training night per week, an accredited coach, up to 2 complimentary carnival registration fees. A training jersey will be provided for players new to North Star Academy teams in 2020.  New players will need to purchase playing shorts & socks via the online shop.  Team sports bags can also be purchased through the online shop

 

JUNIOR BYPL INCLUSIONS: 

·         Training kit consisting of training / alternate jersey (replenishment only for new players)

.          Blue playing and yellow alternate socks for all players

·         Team jerseys – to be returned to Club at end of season

·         Training 2 nights per week and 1 game per week

·         Accredited Coach

·         Match Fees paid by Club

·         Medallion, team & club awards

·         Trophy (for teams reaching Grand Final) 

·         Team Photo

NB: Blue club and yellow alternate socks are provided as part of player's fees.  New players will need to purchase playing shorts. Team sports bags can also be purchased through the online shop

 

U12- U16 DIVISIONAL TEAM INCLUSIONS (BOYS & GIRLS):

·         Team jerseys – to be returned to Club at end of season

·         Training 1 night per week and 1 game per week

·         Medallion, team & club awards

·         Trophy (for teams reaching Grand Final)

U12- U14 ACADEMY/DEVELOPMENT INCLUSIONS:

·         Medallion, team & club awards

·         Trophy (for teams reaching Grand Final)

YOUTH (U18) Div 2/3  / MEN'S / WOMEN’S CITY LEAGUE INCLUSIONS:

·         Trophy (for teams reaching Grand Final) 

           If taking up a coaching role, receive Skills Training Coaching and Game Training Certificates (paid by Club) 


U18 Div 1 TEAM INCLUSIONS:

·         Playing Kit (shorts and jersey) - to be returned at the end of the season 

·         Club apparel (playing socks); training kits will be provided to players NEW to North Star in 2020

·         Training 2 nights per week and 1 game per week

·         Accredited Coach

·         Match Fees paid by Club

·         Club and Team Awards

·         Trophy (for teams reaching Grand Final) 

·         If taking up a coaching role, receive Skills Training Coaching and Game Training Certificates (paid by Club)        

Men's BPL & Women's CAPITAL 1 TEAM INCLUSIONS:

·         Playing Kit (shorts and jersey) - to be returned at the end of the season 

·         Club apparel (playing socks); training kits and club polos will be provided to players NEW to North Star in 2020

·         Training 2 nights per week and 1 game per week

·         Accredited Coach

·         Match Fees paid by Club

·         If taking up a coaching role, receive Skills Training Coaching and Game Training Certificates (paid by Club) 

 

MASTER’S (Women's O30’S & Men's O35’S) INCLUSIONS:

·         Training 1 night per week and 1 game per week

·          Match fees paid by Club

·         Team jersey – to be returned to Club at end of season

·         Team awards

·         Trophy (for teams reaching Grand Final)

           If taking up a coaching role, receive Skills Training Coaching and Game Training Certificates (paid by Club)

CLUB MEMBER OPPORTUNITIES: 

·         Opportunities are available to participate in the Football Brisbane referee training to become a paid Club Referee 

·         Participate in the North Star Football Club Mini Roos Carnival - additional fees will apply

·         Undertake extra training through North Star Holiday Clinics during school holidays - additional fees will apply

·         Undertake extra mentoring sessions with professionally qualified coaches - additional fees will apply

·         2020 Trophy Presentation Night and Club Dinner – cost of ticket not included in junior or senior fees.

·         Senior team photo – extra cost

·         Family and Gala events throughout the season – additional costs may be incurred.
